Before surgery, I was really, really worried, but I got so much help from this community, so I’m leaving a review too!! I had a wide, bulbous nose (especially a blunt nasal tip), and although my nasal bridge wasn’t exactly high, I didn’t think it was low either, so I only had the nasal tip done without an implant! Especially because I’m a huge worrier, I was really scared of contracture and inflammatory reactions from silicone. So silicone was absolutely a no for me, but luckily they said my nasal bridge wasn’t totally flat, so I ended up only doing the nasal tip. They did say cases like this (having enough bridge and only doing the tip) aren’t very common. These days, doing only tip surgery is kind of popular, but they said you have to meet certain conditions.
Since I wasn’t doing the nasal bridge with silicone, I was told the effect would be very, very minimal, so I felt unsettled right before surgery, but the result turned out much better than I expected, so I’m happy haha. They say the tip will still drop a bit more from here and become more natural as the swelling goes down, but I wish it would just stop like this ㅠㅠ For me, swelling peaked on day 2, and fortunately after that it went down quickly. Oh, and now I understand why people say to make rhinoplasty look dramatic.. Especially people with bulbous noses. Even if the nasal tip is lifted up like that, over time it seems to come down due to gravity, and as swelling goes down it becomes natural ㅠㅠ Before surgery I also preferred an extremely natural look, but now that I’ve done it, I feel a little regretful.. Bulbous-nose ladies, go get it lifted dramatically~~
