Male non-implant rhinoplasty review

Leaving a review at about three months post-op.

1. Pain/recovery period The first month after surgery was extremely difficult. The area around my eyes swelled dramatically along the lymphatic vessels, and my entire face was very swollen. From the second month, the shape gradually began to settle and the major pain disappeared. From the third month onward, I have no pain apart from a tight, achy feeling in the columella and nasal tip.

2. Shape I have something to say here. I underwent surgery requesting no implant and a natural line. In my case, I had no nasion or nasal bridge, and my nasal tip was low with a blunt shape. Overall, my nasal tip was lifted, my side profile improved, and my image became softer than before. If there is one thing I regret, it is wondering whether I should have accepted an implant when the doctor asked if I wanted silicone. For a man, my nasion was low and my tip was high, so the nasal line became feminine. The reactions around me have generally been positive. These days I often hear that I look young for my age.

3. Breathing My rhinitis has not recurred or anything like that. However, one nostril was somewhat blocked for about two months. Now it does not significantly interfere with breathing, and I only snore again when sleeping.

Overall: I am satisfied overall, but it made me wonder whether I should have added silicone. So would I have revision surgery? Not necessarily. I’m satisfied enough to live with it.
