I had rhinoplasty once before, but the hump was not corrected neatly, and from the front my nose looked completely like a garlic nose, so I looked into revision. I also wanted to improve the feeling that only my nose projected too far, perhaps because of the tip angle. For my facial shape, I wanted to correct the asymmetry of my cheekbones and square jaw, with the right side higher, and make my chin tip slimmer. So I mainly looked for clinics that performed both facial contouring and rhinoplasty. It wasn’t easy because I was looking into revision rhinoplasty as well as contouring, and visiting consultations was tiring, but I’m relieved that the result is satisfying after all the research and consultations I did. I had planned the three facial-contouring procedures from the start. Dr. Lee Ho-bin said my cheekbones didn’t need to be shaved much and that simply refining the lines neatly would be enough. For my jaw, he showed me on the CT where it would be ideal to shave from the square jaw to the chin while preserving the angle below the ear, and I checked the design while looking in the mirror. He examined my face carefully from various angles, almost like a panorama, which made me think my face could look more three-dimensional. In my consultation with Dr. Lee Seung-ho, he said he would refine the hump further and diagnosed that my nose looked unnatural and short because it was raised with a slightly lifted angle while remaining straight. He said it would be better to lengthen the tip slightly and adjusted the angle again. I was recommended rib cartilage, but I was concerned about scarring, so I used donated rib cartilage. How does the result look? I feel that even my previously long-looking face and blunt nose have improved well, and I’m satisfied every day. The recovery was somewhat difficult, but it feels worthwhile to have endured it. If you’re looking for information, leave a comment and I’ll send it by private message :)
