I started looking into clinics because I want nose surgery before my working holiday. Because I was worried about a columella scar and wanted a quick recovery, I deliberately looked only for closed rhinoplasty. I happened to see a VN video and went for a consultation. I watched all the videos explaining the procedure by Dr. Oh Seung-il because I wanted to study beforehand, but the doctor directly explaining closed rhinoplasty was more helpful than studying on my own. I do not want a dramatic-looking nose, and I was stressed because my tip looked somewhat low compared with my bridge, so the doctor suggested focusing the surgery on the tip. From the explanation, it sounded relatively simple: tying the tip cartilages and adding ear cartilage, they said. However, they said a step could be visible if only the tip was raised, so they suggested making a support with a septal extension, which they said was also possible through a closed approach. After this consultation, I visited another clinic because I liked its nose shapes, but they said my nose was short and that an open approach was absolutely necessary. After deliberating, I booked surgery with VN because I had wanted a closed approach from the beginning. There are many closed-rhinoplasty reviews, and I thought a clinic that could not perform closed surgery probably could not promote itself based on it… Due to personal circumstances, my surgery is in three weeks, and I am really looking forward to it. I have also seen reviews saying the doctor carefully considers the design before surgery, so I want to express my opinions as much as possible then and achieve a satisfying result.
