1. Why I decided to have surgery I had always been concerned about facial asymmetry, and I also needed orthodontic treatment, so I decided to have double-jaw surgery. I deliberated a lot before deciding, but I really wanted to improve the issue that had bothered me for a long time, so I think I made the decision quickly. 2. External changes after surgery The part I am most satisfied with after surgery is that my facial asymmetry has improved considerably. My overall facial line feels more refined than before, and I am pleased that my face seems smaller. In particular, I like noticing the difference from before surgery when I take photos. 3. Recovery process At first there was swelling and the recovery process was not easy, but as time passed, the swelling gradually subsided and I could feel my face becoming more natural. 4. Satisfaction at six months Overall, I am satisfied with the surgical results. In the past, my facial asymmetry stressed me out every time I took photos, and it made me lose confidence for no real reason, but now I do not think about it at all. 👍
