I knew the doctor was blunt, and he really was. I went there during winter break when I was 18, and he said we should not dismiss me just because I was young, which gave me confidence. Unlike other clinics, he said he would use only septal cartilage, and because he spoke honestly, I was able to think about the surgery one more time. The clinic itself was small, and there were only a few managers.
