I was worried because I had a bulbous nose and wide nostrils. I found out about the director and hospital through an acquaintance of my dad. I went for a consultation, and even though it was my first time ever going to a plastic surgery clinic and I really knew nothing, the consultant and director explained so many things in detail in a way that was easy for me to understand. I was the type with almost no columella, so they had to create a columella with cartilage. If I hadn’t done that, it could have been a big problem,, hehe
During surgery, other than the local anesthesia, I was really fine. All I did was lie there listening to the radio playing in the operating room. I thought all injections would feel the same, but it really hurt hehe Still, once the anesthesia is done, it’s basically almost over. The director also comforted me, saying the painful part was all over, so I relaxed. In the middle, they gave me a mirror and showed me my nose, and it was really fascinating.
After surgery, my nose swelling was so unnoticeable that I felt totally fine. After a week, I went in nervous to have the stitches removed, but it really didn’t hurt at all. The left side had not adhered as much, so they stitched it one more time and I lived like that for another week. If I think about what was uncomfortable, it was only having to sleep straight on my back. That was it for me.
After all the stitches were removed, I put on makeup and went out for the first time, and my friends and family didn’t even notice lololol The scar is barely noticeable, and I’m just living my daily life well hehe
I came from far away to have the surgery, and when the consultant found out, she took really good care of me. The staff ladies were really kind too!! They explained the post-surgery precautions and even how to apply the ointment in so much detail, so it was really comfortable. After nose surgery, living while hearing that I look pretty makes me so happy, and I’m so satisfied thinking that I’m glad I got nose surgery hehe Every time I look in the mirror, I really think my nose is pretty lololololol Creating the columella was truly the best move!! I love my nose so much lololol I really recommend it!!!!
