When I lived outside Seoul, I got double eyelid surgery at a place that was said to be good in my area, and I liked it, so I got my nose done there too. My nose was originally not small or ugly. It was just a bit low. Even back then, I didn’t need a nasal bridge, and I only wanted to raise the nasal tip, but they used septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and according to that doctor, he said he had done the maximum possible.
The tip didn’t really go up, and they didn’t put much into the bridge either, so even people meeting me for the first time, and many of my friends too, didn’t know I had done it.
It had a straight-line nose shape, my nose looked long, the cartilage at the nasal tip showed through, and after touching the septum and 6 years passing, my nose also became crooked. The inside on the left side would swell, and when I cleaned my nose with a cotton swab, it bled. In the end, I went for a consultation at a place famous for noses and got a CT scan, and I found out I had developed septal deviation that I hadn’t had before..
Rhinoplasty made it so hard to breathe that I never wanted to do it again, but in the end I had revision surgery againㅜㅜ
An acquaintance also had it done there, and the director is so famous for noses, so I searched a ton of reviews here and went there with my mind almost made up. I booked the date that same day, and it’s been a little over 2 weeks since surgery. I didn’t have much greed for the nasal bridge, and I hoped for a slightly higher straight-to-soft-upturned line with the tip raised, but my nose was very small and my skin was thin, so the director honestly told me not to expect too much. But I like it so~~ much.
He said he lowered the bridge compared to before and added donated costal cartilage + donated dermis to the tip within a range where it wouldn’t show through. The height isn’t quite as much as I wanted, but it’s the best possible for my skin, and I’m also very satisfied with the line.
For two days after the nose surgery, breathing through my mouth because of the cotton packing was seriously painful, and even after the packing was removed, I still had silicone sheets inside because of the septal deviation. Those were removed at week 2, so until they were taken out, I couldn’t breathe well through my nose and it felt so stuffy. As soon as the silicone sheets were removed, my nose opened right up, and I realized once again that breathing could feel this good. I hope this is my last nose surgeryㅠㅠ I don’t want to do it anymoreㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
