Planning to delete the photos /////
It’s been one month and one day since my revision rhinoplasty using my own rib cartilage! As you can see in the photos, my left and right nostril wings look different.. When I touch them with my hand, on the left side I can feel the rounded part of the nostril wing, but on the right side it feels kind of smooth..? It feels a bit flat...
My nose was originally deviated to the right, so when I had the revision surgery, I also had correction for a deviated nose done at the same time..!
Not long after surgery, the left-right asymmetry was even worse, and as the swelling has gone down, it has been gradually getting better! The mucosa inside my nose is also more swollen on the right side
When I went to the clinic for my one-month follow-up, they said my nose isn’t crooked and that it will look better as the swelling goes down... Has anyone had a similar experience to me? I’m wondering if this will really get better once the swelling goes down I really want to get out of this anxious spiral
