But I saw that if you use septal cartilage, a side effect called saddle nose can occur, and in that case, revision surgery is done using autologous rib cartilage/dermis. Then can’t I just have the surgery with autologous rib cartilage/dermis from the beginning? When I searched, it seemed like no one gets their first surgery with autologous rib cartilage/dermis, so I’m curious why that is.. Does anyone know?
