The clinics I visited first were Coviju, It’s B, and Star. As everyone knows, all three are very well known for revision rhinoplasty, so overall I was satisfied with the consultations, but It’s B was natural-looking, yet the aesthetic aspect didn’t match me, so I passed...
1. Coviju It had been so long since I went around for consultations that I went feeling a little nervous..! I went wearing a mask, and when I slid it down while talking, I got a bit teary... Thinking about it now, it was so embarrassing.. haha Still, the director treated me comfortably and comforted me Anyway, since this was a revision of a revision, I had a CT scan, and they looked at everything very meticulously. They also examined my nose from all angles. Since this was my second revision, I asked a ton of questions, but they wrote each one down and explained them one by one lol Because I was seriously asking questions rapid-fire like a bomb going off... and if I didn’t understand, I’d be like, “Huh?”... Looking back, I feel so sorry and grateful. Also, I heard they handle costal cartilage well, so I made an appointment and went, but unexpectedly, only here they said my existing cartilage was sufficient, so we should try using that instead of costal cartilage! And they also suggested several methods just in case, and I could feel that they preferred safer methods!!
2. Star I went a little early, but there was still a bit of a wait! Still, I didn’t wait long, so it was okay. Here too, I had a CT scan and then had a proper consultation with the director. Since I already had one consultation where I got teary, I didn’t get teary here.. lolol I think I spoke calmly The consultation time was really long lol And they explained the functional part and the cosmetic part separately, and because it was my second revision surgery, I could feel that this director also wanted to proceed as safely as possible~! Here, costal cartilage was recommended. Ah but honestly, costal cartilage... is still something I’m scared of Also maybe because it was costal cartilage, I received a high quote, so I’m still thinking about that part. The shape they planned was also high and naturally nice
I’m not sure if I organized this well because I’m not very good with words.. Anyway, if there’s anyone looking into revision rhinoplasty, I wrote down how I felt then and whatever comes to mind right now in the hope it helps even a little lol I’m planning to go for additional consultations at The Door, Made Young, and Baroko, then decide quickly!!
