I'm now entering my 6th month after getting SMILE LASIK, and to start with the conclusion, I want to recommend it to anyone who wears glasses (even if you're the type who looks good in glasses).
First of all, the convenience is truly overwhelming. Honestly, I did it more for cosmetic reasons than convenience, but unexpectedly, the convenience really hit me in a big way. I think it's hard to realize while you're wearing glasses just how big it is for the part of your life where you worry about glasses to disappear.
The cosmetic side is the same. Even though I had a face that actually suited glasses pretty well, I realized how big it is to be able to wear them in places where glasses fit the situation, and take them off where they don't.
As for the surgery, I had no pain at all, but I do have an acquaintance who said it hurt at a place that sometimes doesn't prescribe painkillers. The place I went to prescribed painkillers, so I didn't feel any pain at all, though it is scary, because the surgical scene stays in your mind throughout the procedure.
Still, the actual pain felt is close to 0, and I think the satisfaction for the price is really high and the side effects are very low, so my conclusion is that I recommend it!
