I have sunken eyes, but during the consultation they recommended a semi-out line. They marked the line for me and I liked it, so I scheduled the surgery date right away. When I asked the consultant what effect ptosis correction has, she said, “It makes the eyes look a bit rounder and more open hehe.” It wasn’t an explanation with professional knowledge.
After surgery I developed scar tissue at the inner corners of both eyes. It didn’t become semi-out; both sides became in-out. For the right eye, it seems they tried a semi-out line but failed, so the front part of the eyelid line bends inward strangely and became in-out. (The line formed lower than the semi line drawn with the design pen at the inner corner of the eye.) The result is completely different from the line they marked during consultation. It’s lower. When I asked them to raise the line more, they refused, saying this was the maximum and that doing more would make it look unnatural. They only raised my original double eyelid by about 0.x mm and did the double eyelid surgery. If you want a dramatic look and a clear change in impression, I don’t recommend this hospital. I had an incision, but in the morning my eyes are so swollen that there’s only one double eyelid line. But in the evening, the swelling goes down, and the original double eyelid line overlaps with the surgical double eyelid line, so there are faintly two lines on each side.
They seem good at ptosis correction. I was worried about side effects after ptosis correction, but after about a month, the pulling sensation in my eyes mostly disappeared. End
