Day 2 after lateral canthoplasty…
1. Since I can’t shower, I feel grimy…. I want to wash my face really thoroughly
2. My right eye has been opened up more. Even during the pre-op consultation, I was told that because my asymmetry was severe, they would need to open each side differently, but maybe because the stitches haven’t been removed yet, it just feels like the asymmetry has gotten worse
3. The conjunctival edema isn’t severe. It doesn’t stand out in the eye, and you can only tell if you look closely??
4. It feels like both eyes were opened all the way because of the periosteal fixation, but I didn’t want red scarring at the outer corners, so I repeatedly said that before surgery. They said it could be there depending on the eye angle, so this is what worries me the most…
5. The outer corners of my eyes still sting and hurt
+ Maybe because of swelling, my under-eye aegyo-sal is gone + My eyes sting like crazy, to the point that studying or working is impossible + Red tissue is visible in both eyes + My impression has changed a lot
