I had my first surgery 5 years ago, but one side came undone and my eyes became uneven, so while looking for a revision surgery clinic, I had a consultation at Hani Plastic Surgery. The director here was popular when they were affiliated with a large hospital and recently opened their own private clinic, so I looked at many reviews through photos from the previous hospital. For men’s eyes, since they’re inner double eyelids, even if it looks like there isn’t much difference, you can somehow see from the subtle feel whether the line is good or not. Looking through the director’s male eye reviews, I liked that the lines looked open and clean. I wanted revision surgery not only because one side came undone, but also because the line on the side that hadn’t come undone wasn’t good either, so I really hated how it looked distorted in photos. So I looked at a lot of review photos along with their skill.
For the consultation, they printed out photos of my face, and because it was revision surgery, they asked about my past information and carefully asked what I thought about incisional surgery. I think it was probably because men tend to have strong resistance to incision, but the other consultations I had gone to all mentioned incision too, and I also said I didn’t mind incision because I wanted to finish eye surgery once and for all, and they seemed pleased lol. Then I heard an explanation about ptosis correction and talked about various things. I showed them the review photos of the director that I had saved and said I came for a consultation because I liked how the line was set the same way as the eye line and looked open, and they said, “That’s my style!” It felt like the line would come out the way I wanted, and they said my eyes are also long horizontally and would turn out well with surgery, then the consultation wrapped up.
Overall, they seemed confident in their skill, and the clinic was clean and kind, so I booked a surgery date at Hani Plastic Surgery and have already had the surgery. Looking forward to after the swelling goes down!
