I finally completed a long-cherished project! Because of my hump nose + droopy-tip nose, from the side my nose looked pressed down like Bang Si-hyuk’s fish. So overall, my face felt flat. Photos 1-2 below are from right before the surgery~
I had the surgery at Apgujeong Yejin, and my criteria for choosing the hospital were 1. whether it does natural-looking work, 2. whether it is a one-doctor clinic, and 3. whether the facilities are good. Starting last August, I visited 6 clinics around Apgujeong and Gangnam Station, then chose Yejin. First of all, it fit my criteria, and when I went for the consultation, I got a good feeling. Since I was getting rhinoplasty anyway, I wanted to do it properly, so I chose after a lot of thought.
The surgery was done with autologous dermis & cartilage... and the surgery time was about 3 hours. I woke up in the middle of surgery, and I was really scared there would be pain.. but during the surgery, it didn’t hurt at all. However, when they did local anesthesia for the autologous dermis, that hurt a bitㅠㅠ
When I got home it was evening, so I simply ate pumpkin porridge... Eating the pumpkin porridge was the hardest part.. And when sleeping, I slept with my upper body elevated. I’m trying to enjoy this time in my own way, thinking this too shall pass.... I’m really looking forward to after the swelling goes down!
I had the splint removed on day 4, how does it look?! I’m so relieved that there is less swelling than I expected and no bruising hahaha Before getting my nose done, I thought my lips protruded a bit, but after my nose became higher, that feeling seems to have reduced a bit too.
I’m still very satisfied! I need to manage it diligently so the swelling can go down quicklyㅠㅠ
