I am leaving my 6-month review after getting alar reduction surgery at a clinic.
First, I had three-dimensional alar reduction + artificial dermis. My nostril wings were wide, but more than that, my concern was that they looked blunt and bulbous, so I chose the three-dimensional type, and I think it was a good choice. Honestly, they said the major swelling would go down by 3 months and the residual swelling by 6 months, so I had high expectations for how I would look at 3 months, but it was still quite firm and swollen, so I regretted it a bit and wondered if the surgery had gone wrong. That is why I actually did not write a review.. But now that it has been 6 months, I think I can see that it has become much slimmer than at first. And although of course I may not be as satisfied with the shape as I would be with nose surgery involving silicone and nasal tip cartilage, there are almost no side effects, so I am very satisfied with that part.
I highly recommend it to those who are worried about side effects but still want nose surgery! And for those with blunt, bulbous noses like me, I think it would be okay to at least get a consultation~ (For reference, maybe because my skin is thick, I still have residual swelling.. I am looking forward to seeing how it looks after more swelling goes down.)
