I decided to get orthodontic treatment because of my bunny front teeth and protruding mouth, and at ㅇㅇㅇㅇ Dental Clinic in Apgujeong, I first received orthodontic treatment from Dr. Jang Ji-hye, and after more than a year, Dr. Hong Ho-jeong continued the treatment because Dr. Jang was on maternity leave.
The cost was 2.5 million won for Clippy-C brackets (I don't think there was a monthly fee) and I think the finishing retainer was 250,000? or 270,000? won.
Of course, I paid separately for things like cavities in the middle. Since this place is by appointment, it was convenient but also inconvenient haha... I was a college student at the time and had to go up to Seoul from another region... so matching the dates was harder.
I had a total of 4 teeth extracted... haha
Post-orthodontic care... I spent 3 years without wearing my retainer.. haha Still, my teeth haven't shifted or anything and are doing well. I usually didn't floss, but these days I've finally started flossing, so at least... it's better...? haha
After getting orthodontic treatment, my smile is definitely better than before, and people around me also say the orthodontic treatment turned out well, so I feel good haha But I definitely feel like my teeth have become weaker... I think adult orthodontic treatment should be avoided if possible.
