Nose Surgery Reviews

Successful male revision rhinoplasty!

I had rhinoplasty six years ago, but it did not improve things properly and I was unhappy, so I decided on revision surgery. Although it was a revision, I wanted a natural, straight nose rather than a glamorous look. I consulted Dr. Ka at Obe, and he analyzed my proportions and angles while checking them with an actual protractor, then showed me the planned nose line directly in Photoshop. I found this very reassuring. From the beginning of the consultation, he said we should lower the high bridge, which had caused me the most stress, so I trusted him even more. Before surgery my nose looked large because it was big and the bridge was high. Replacing the 2.5 mm silicone with 1.2 mm silicone lowered the bridge and definitely made my nose look smaller! I had a bulbous nose, but the tip seems to have improved with donated rib cartilage and ear cartilage, and the bulbous-nose correction also seems successful, so I am satisfied. Interestingly, revision surgery hurt less for me than the first surgery.. I recommend rhinoplasty to those with very large noses.
