Nose Surgery Reviews

I hope this is really my last rhinoplasty revision T_T

My friend had a revision rhinoplasty, and it turned out so incredibly well. The bridge line looked beautiful from the side, and it was clearly different from her previous nose, so I was extremely envious. I actually had rhinoplasty 11 years ago too, but as time passed, the tip kept looking lifted, which bothered me. After seeing my friend's nose, I couldn't stand it anymore and finally went ahead with revision rhinoplasty at the same clinic. My original nose had some bridge height, but the tip was short and looked lifted, so I was especially unhappy with my profile. From the front, the tip also looked somewhat broad. This time, during revision rhinoplasty at D-Day, I also corrected the bulbous nose and dorsal hump and reshaped the overall nasal line. The tip shape was what mattered most to me. Rather than a very glamorous nose or one with a strong curve, I wanted a natural, straight-to-gently-curved line. I told the doctor I wanted the tip raised but rounded rather than sharp. The surgeon understood the look I wanted and carefully checked both the tip shape and the overall line, which put me at ease. This time, the existing silicone implant was replaced, and the tip was rebuilt with autologous costal cartilage. I am exactly two weeks post-op now! I looked like a completely swollen, bulbous-nosed person until the first week, but much of the swelling has gone down and the contours of the bridge and tip are starting to show. Especially from the side, the lifted-looking tip has almost disappeared, and I like how naturally the line flows. From the front, the tip also came out round and cute, just as I wanted, so I am very satisfied! There is still some residual swelling, but I hope it settles naturally just like this.
