Ever since I was young, I had a complex about my low, blunt, bulbous nose, and since the end of last year after the college entrance exam, I looked into hospitals known for doing noses really thoroughly. I went around to many places in person and had consultations at several clinics, and what I realized was that you need to have a clear direction for the kind of nose you want before going to consultations. Also, most hospitals that create natural, pretty lines make the side profile look nice, but the frontal effect is not dramatic. Since my nose was low, I had been thinking I would definitely need costal cartilage, but at the place where I had surgery, after taking a detailed CT scan, they told me there was no need to use costal cartilage and that septal cartilage alone would be enough, and if it was insufficient, using a little ear cartilage would also be effective. Unlike other hospitals, they had booklets in the waiting room with before-and-after photos from the front, side, and 45-degree angles. Even though the surgeries did not use costal cartilage, the frontal effect seemed pretty good, so I liked that, and I also figured they must be fairly confident to have made the review photos into booklets. My first consultation was in early December, but because there was a long wait, I had no choice but to schedule for early February.
The surgery date that felt like it would never come approached quickly, and now it has been a little over a month since my surgery haha. First, to tell you the conclusion, since this was my first surgery and I wanted to naturally improve just the part I had a complex about, I am satisfied in that regard. From the front, the nasal tip still has a naturally rounded feel, but it looks much slimmer than before, and the side line is really pretty. But plastic surgery really is addictive; even though it turned out natural and pretty, I do think, should I have gone a little higher? lol Anyway, I’ve become prettier, so I’m enjoying life, getting asked for my number on the street and being approached by people. I hope my review was helpful.
