Hello. I was told it would be good to look up hospital reviews on Google before getting cosmetic surgery, so while searching I came across this community.
Right now, the inner corner of my right eye has loosened, and it is visible even in photos, so I decided to have surgery. So I am looking into hospitals that specialize in revision eye surgery.
Without further ado, I want to leave a review of the surgery I had in the summer of 2018. (It was a long time ago, but the reason I am leaving a review is that I am planning to have surgery this month, and I want to earn points so I can move up quickly and find hospital information...)
I had the surgery at ㅇㅁㅈㅇ with only natural adhesion. Looking back now, I think I was unhappy with my single eyelids, and because I wanted to have surgery during vacation, I only visited three clinics... It is really amazing that I did that. I even booked same-day surgery and put down a deposit of 100,000 won. (It was because I live in a province and it was hard to go back and forth to Seoul.) Still, among the three places, the consultation was the kindest and they did not suggest unnecessary procedures.
I had the surgery on the earliest possible day as soon as vacation started. The surgery went well, and the swelling went down faster than I expected. (I even messaged the consultation manager several times saying the swelling was going down too fast and asking if the line would become too thin... lol But looking at the photos from back then now, there was quite a bit of swelling, and I think it is just cute that I thought that way.)
At that time, summer 2018 was when my school friends were getting double eyelid surgery the most. And a year later, when the swelling had gone down somewhat, my friends told me several times that my double eyelids looked the most natural and least like I had surgery. Even now, apart from the right eye having loosened, I really like the left eye ㅠㅠㅠ
But while looking into revision surgery and visiting about five hospitals, I learned information about my eyes that I had not known before, such as the fact that my right eye sits deeper than my left eye, which is why my eyes are uneven. So they said it probably loosened. I made a quick decision because I wanted surgery soon, but looking back, I regret it.
