Before<before>Before<before>Before<after>Before<after>It has been 2 weeks since I had cheekbone reduction at ㅅㅅㅇ Plastic Surgery! Ever since I was young, I did not have much facial fat, and while managing my weight, as I lost weight, my facial cheekbones looked especially prominent. My eyes, nose, and mouth were fine, but my facial contour was uneven, so when I tucked my hair behind my ears or tied my hair up, I felt stressed, and that is why I ended up getting cheekbone reduction.
The reason I decided to have cheekbone reduction at ㅅㅅㅇ was that, since it is bone surgery, I thought a place where the director's expertise seemed the highest should be the priority. In addition, I considered that they had many successful surgical precedents, that during the surgical consultation they diagnosed only the necessary areas without being excessive, and that the staff took very detailed care of me, so I ultimately chose them.
After the surgery, even with the naked eye I could see that the cheekbone area had gone in a lot, so I liked it. There is still swelling in my cheeks, but it is going down well, so I think I will be even more satisfied later. It is still difficult to judge visually because there is swelling, but on CT it had really been reduced a lot. I think if I wait a bit longer, I will be even more satisfied. People around me have also already said a lot that although there is still swelling, the cheekbone area has become much smaller and my face looks smaller.
After having the surgery, it is really good. I think I will like it even more once the swelling goes down, so I look forward to it day by day!
On the day of surgery, there was less swelling than I expected. I have had a few other areas done before, so I do have some sense of swelling, and I did think I probably would not swell much. In order not to swell, the doctor has to minimize bleeding and perform the surgery well, and even compared with when I had smaller areas operated on before, although this was contouring surgery, there was no bruising and little bleeding, so I was surprised. Of course, from the next day and the day after that, I did swell a lot, but I took frequent walks and used cold compresses, so it went down a lot. When I went to the clinic at 2 weeks, they said my swelling had gone down quickly! I think the surgery being done well was the biggest factor. During the first week after surgery, my throat was scratchy because of general anesthesia, but by nighttime the scratchiness disappeared, and there was no pain at the surgical site. Until 72 hours, I really used cold compresses a lot, and I endured while eating squeeze-pack porridge. Now I am mainly eating oatmeal, yogurt, and regular porridge. Because it was facial contouring surgery, I was the most nervous about it, but I think it was more manageable than expected. I think the surgery being done well was a big factor. Now I even go to work without a mask, and people do not seem to notice much. I am living my daily life well without any major difficulty.
