Before <Before surgery 1>Before <Before surgery 2>After <10 months after surgery 1>After <10 months after surgery 2>It’s already almost been 10 months since I had my revision rhinoplasty. I’d been living without even remembering when I had the surgery, but lately the clinic I went to keeps popping up on my Instagram, so while it came to mind, I’m writing my thoughts at the 10-month mark haha
My first surgery went spectacularly wrong, and while I was looking into revision surgery, I got scared because people said that if revision surgery fails, there’s really no answer. So I went to a lot of consultations here and there, but even after going around, none really appealed to me. Rather than pointing out the parts I was concerned about, there were many directors who actually recommended even more excessive surgery, so I hesitated a lot about whether I should just not get revision surgery.
Then I ended up going for a consultation at the place where I had my revision surgery now, and here, the director didn’t just look at my nose. They noticed that because of my nose, even my eyes looked off and my impression had become sharp and worse. Honestly, even after getting double eyelid surgery, I hadn’t been completely happy with something!
I think I decided I should do it here because it didn’t feel like they were seeing me as money. After I decided I should have surgery, I quickly set a surgery date and had it done, and since I also had a forehead lift, of course there was bruising/swelling in the beginning, but now I’m very satisfied hahaha It’s been 10 months, and the lift also turned out well, so opening my eyes is comfortable, and my nose hasn’t sunken in or developed any step-off!
There really were a lot of ups and downs, but I think that’s why my satisfaction is extremely high now. When I get older later on, I’m also slightly thinking about a facelift or other lifting procedures hahaha
