I had it done at a hospital in a provincial metropolitan city, and it was a private clinic my parents were introduced to.
I had a low nose with no nasal bridge between my eyes, so I focused on the significance of getting a nasal bridge, and even though my nasal tip/alar area was bulbous, I was scared to touch the nostrils, so I left them as they were.
They raised the bridge high with silicone, and the nasal tip was done with ear cartilage.
I had it under local anesthesia, and I remember the doctor putting in the silicone while discussing it with the nurse next to him…;;;; He was saying, “If we put it around here, it will go too high, right??” and I remember him adjusting the silicone position ㅠㅠ
Anyway, honestly, the shape is not pretty, but I am satisfied that I got a nasal bridge, and it has been over 10 years, but I do not think I have had any particularly major side effects.
There is the fact that when I wake up in the morning, I end up sniffling through my nose, and because I have left-right asymmetry, one side of my nasal bridge has an especially shadowed area, so people with a sharp eye might notice something looks odd??
Sometimes I imagine getting revision surgery for a prettier nose, but since they say revision rhinoplasty is very difficult, rather than touching it for no reason and getting side effects, I am just going to live ordinarily ㅠ For the nose, I think it is best to research well from the beginning and do it in a way that you can be the most satisfied with ㅠㅠ
