13 years ago, I had my hump nose shaved down and my nasal tip done with septal cartilage. Afterward, the nasal dorsum bone grew unevenly, making my nose look asymmetric and deviated to one side, so I had revision surgery. During the consultation, I was told the asymmetry could not be completely corrected, and it has been 4 days since I had implant-free hump nose revision using autologous costal cartilage, osteotomy, and dermis grafting over the nasal bridge area. For two days after surgery, my eyes were bruised and so swollen that I could barely open them, but after the packing was removed 2 days after surgery, the bruising and swelling went down a lot. Now all that’s left is to remove the splint and stitches next Tuesday I haven’t seen my nose without the splint after surgery, so I don’t know if the surgery went well, but for now I’m relieved that I’m recovering well.
