People around me also kept saying the red scarring was severe.. that I looked tired, so…… Anyway, the surgery took about 90 minutes, and the swelling was worst on day 3. From day 5, the bruising had gone down a lot and there was no bleeding. I really worked hard on aftercare. I didn’t drink alcohol, wiped my face with toner, applied the medication properly, and often used the artificial tears the clinic gave me..
The two photos below are day 7 after lateral canthoplasty restoration! I went to get the stitches removed, and after they took them out, there was so little swelling that I wondered if I had even had surgery. Honestly, because it was a restoration, I was worried my eyes would get smaller and turn upward a lot, but so far I’m relieved… I went to work like this, and people said the redness has disappeared a lot, so it looks much better. I had been so stressed because of this redness. I’ll keep watching the progress, and if there’s more improvement, I’ll write another review.
