I went for revision rhinoplasty consultations It’s been over 10 years since my first surgery, and over 10 years since I had it removed too It was silicone inflammation, so I have some contracture, and my columella is a bit retracted, so it feels like an upturned nose. From the side, it looks like my nose is cut offㅠ Because of the retracted columella, my mouth looks protruded. I get stressed every time I take photos and it bothers me every time I look in the mirror, so I decided on revision surgery and visited three places today..! I like a natural style, and rather than a flashy or glam-natural nose, I’m someone who thinks it would be really nice if it were natural with just one drop of prettiness. Here are my consultation reviews
HT (Director HSC) Had a CT scan. Wait time was 1 hour He emphasized the columella and nasolabial angle I forgot and didn’t ask about the AS periodㅠ Order: consultation with consultant -> consultation with director -> quote consultation with consultant The director consulted while checking the inside of my nose in detail with the CT (the consultant also consulted while looking at the CT) Consultation fee x (but when I said I wanted to take the CT with me, they put it on a USB and that cost 55,000 won) This place does a glam-natural (or flashy) line, so it’s not my style, but my friends said it seems like they create really pretty lines, so I booked a consultation out of curiosity The columella and nasolabial angle are areas I care about Looking at Director HSC’s patients’ before-and-after photos, it looked like he improves that part well The consultation time with the director was short, but he spoke very clearly and briskly and understood my needs accurately. He shaped my nasal tip with a long cotton swab and I liked it. But I had no intention of shaving down my hump, and he said to shave the hump. He also mentioned silicone for the nasal bridge I hadn’t been thinking about shaving the hump or silicone for the bridge But he finished the consultation so quickly, like rapid fire, so I thought he must be extremely busy. I was going to ask moreㅋㅋㅋ but the line itself is glam-natural/flashy style, so it was a bit different from the natural round feeling I’m aiming for, so I just didn’t ask more and passed.. The consultant was kind too. Honestly, the price was so expensive even though it was just the nasal tip that I went “hiek,” and the discounted price was.. even the discounted price.. still expensive But my nose is kind of smallㅠ and the condition wasn’t good, so I think that’s why it was more expensive.. If you like a glam-natural line, I don’t think it would be bad to go for a consultation

Order: consultation with consultant -> consultation with director -> quote consultation with consultant The consultation manager was kind, and the other staff were average, neither especially kind nor unkind The hospital facilities were so-so..!? Not good, but not bad either.. The wait time was about 5-10 minutes. During that time I had a brief consultation with the consultant, then almost immediately consulted with the director, and then heard the quote from the consultant again. I think it took about 30-40 minutes total, not long And I had heard the director was chic, but I didn’t really feel that At first he checked the condition of my nose and asked where and how I wanted to improve it. When I told him the parts I felt were problems, he added details and explained them Whether it was possible or not, and what method and what surgery would be needed to improve it. To me, the director wasn’t exactly warm, but he explained things in a detailed, precise, and professional way He stated clearly with no wiggle room what could and couldn’t be done, so I actually liked that. But I did think other people might feel that part was chic He checked while looking in a mirror, and it really seemed like very subtle changes. It seemed like he pursues a natural look and values safety. Since I had had silicone side effects, even when he talked about silicone for the bridge, he also mentioned that there are ways to choose safer materials.. But he told me not to expect dramatic changes, so I had almost no expectations for the surgery It’s only a slight improvement, so I thought this price seemed too expensive.. but then again, since my nose has some issues, I guess that’s why..ㅠㅠㅎㅎ The consultation manager was really kind.. For the surgical method, he said it would be done under local anesthesia, and for me, if I lower the columella, lift the alar rims, and do the nasal bridge too, there will be quite a lot to do, so it would take about 3 hours or more. I’m worried whether I can lie there fully consciousㅜㅋㅋ…
DR (Director SJO) CT scan o Consultation fee 10,000 won No wait time I had a brief consultation with the consultant, then a consultation with the director, then a quote consultation with the consultant again They took a CT and checked roughly how much septal cartilage I had, then explained the surgical method. First, he said my septal cartilage is small so he can’t touch it, and said he would use as much ear cartilage as possible, and if that isn’t enough, costal cartilage could be used too Even while saying it, he seemed kind of sorry(?) that it might be a situation where costal cartilage would be needed, so I felt he cared a lot about the patient’s feelings. For the nasal bridge, he said he uses autologous dermis or silicone. Since autologous dermis has different absorption rates depending on the patient, he did recommend silicone more, shape-wise.. I thought, because of side effects, wouldn’t autologous dermis be better? But I also had some concerns because of the shape aspect.. Because there isn’t much extra skin around my nasal tip and there is also scar tissue inside my nose, there are limits to lowering and raising the nose He said that if I had wanted a shape beyond those limits, he would have told me he couldn’t do it and to try somewhere else, but because I seemed to know my nose well and think realistically, he was explaining the surgical direction He said he doesn’t use autologous costal cartilage for the nasal bridge because of warping He said costal cartilage might be needed to correct the nasal tip.. and he said if the nasolabial angle itself is widened, the nostrils might show moreㅠ When I asked questions, he explained really long and in detail, so I think the consultation with the director alone was about 30 minutes The consultation manager was also cheerful, honest, accommodated the date, and everything was good.. But should I say the director didn’t seem very motivated about my nose itself..?ㅋㅋㅋㅠㅠ Since it’s such a small nose with limitations it felt passive.. But except for HT, MT was also a bit like that, so I think that’s an issue with my nose.. Anyway.. it was a good consultation and the money wasn’t wasted
