I’m male and I have a hump nose with a drooping tip. Because I have a nasal bridge, I refused silicone, which has a risk of side effects and wasn’t necessary.
ㅇㄹ/ It was a small private clinic. Here, I felt like they understood very well what a nose should look like. Not what a “beautiful plastic-surgery nose” should look like, but what a “beautiful nose” should look like. In particular, among the nose examples I brought because I thought they were pretty, the doctor pointed out why some had poor surgery results and unnatural parts, and I realized that the nose examples I had brought because they looked pretty were actually unnatural. They also didn’t pressure me to book surgery or play games by saying it was some kind of event, so it suited me well since money wasn’t an issue for me. The clinic first told me not to use silicone or costal cartilage. In the end, I had surgery here with septal cartilage + ear cartilage. It hasn’t been long yet, so I haven’t even removed the splint. I’ll leave a review later.
ㅇㄷㅅ/ The hospital is huge and very grand. They must have made a lot of money. It also seems like the doctor has operated on many people compared with the length of their surgical career. They seem like a veteran when it comes to men’s straight-to-semi-slope noses with silicone. The consultant praised the director a lot, and since I had also seen the director many times on YouTube and Instagram, it kind of felt like seeing a celebrity. When I refused silicone, they said I didn’t need it, but instead they said I had to agree that donated costal cartilage might suddenly be used for height. I thought if the height were high it would actually look unnatural, so I wanted to use only as much as possible with ear cartilage and septal cartilage, but they seemed greedy, as if that would be insufficient. Honestly, I don’t have that much desire for height or a flashy line, and I prefer a clean, masculine straight line rather than the flashy straight-to-semi-slope style they are good at here, so surgery here fell through. There was a bit of pressure to book with a discount included, but when I said I was canceling the surgery, they refunded me quickly even outside business hours.
ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ/ It seemed like a place for overseas medical travelers. It was so big that an entire building was the hospital. There were many doctors, and they seemed to have a lot of patient experience. I don’t remember the name of the doctor I consulted with, but he was a male doctor with glasses who was very logical, and I could feel that he had thought about nose shape. There was no pressure about materials either. However, I thought a long and refined arrow-shaped nose would be better (of course, not an arrow nose or an upturned nose would be best), while the doctor said a slightly lifted angle where the nostrils show is the normal angle. My nostrils don’t show now, but he said they would show as it is raised. I felt our standards for an aesthetic nose were a little different, so I passed. Read the reviews carefully. It’s a hospital with many doctors, so read carefully. Instead, they had a lot of events, so the price was one-third of other places. I don’t know it as a place that can’t do surgery, so if you’re looking for a place that does a good job at this price, it may be worth getting a consultation. Again, price didn’t matter to me.
