I got braces at a dental clinic near my house when I was in high school, and I’m satisfied!! It was more for treatment than for cosmetic purposes. My upper teeth covered all of my lower teeth to the point that the lower teeth weren’t visible. It turned out that my upper jaw had grown straight, but my lower jaw hadn’t grown. So I had orthodontic treatment to move the upper jaw inward and bring the lower jaw forward. My jaw used to be slim and became broader after orthodontic treatment, but I’m satisfied because my lower teeth no longer scrape my palate.
