After getting fat grafting to my buttocks and reading other reviews, I'm writing one too! As time has passed, I don't really remember how painful things were at the beginning.. Right after surgery it was really hard, haha. For current care, I'm not continuously going to the hospital for visits anymore. It's been a little over half a year now, and since it was a major surgery, I took leave from work and had the hip-up surgery done.
Before surgery, I had high expectations and thought a lot about what clothes I would wear afterward, but after surgery, in the early stage... everything from sleeping to daily life was really hardㅜㅜ That period was the hardest, and after that it gradually got better, but I think it differs from person to person! The gradual improvement is the same, but for people who recover quickly, I think daily life may be possible as early as within 2 weeks. This isn't an exact memory, but in my case, by close to three months, the bruising was almost all gone. The bruises on my buttocks didn't fade as easily as I expected, so I think I drank things like pumpkin juice and tried all kinds of ways to help bruises go away..
After getting buttock fat grafting, now whether I wear pants or skirts, the line is alive, so I'm satisfied. I don't think there will be much difficulty returning to normal life.
I think having the buttock line defined is really a big thing. When I wear things like dresses, the silhouette definitely looks better~ I think the recovery period after surgery differs from person to person, but I think resting at home for at least 1 week is right.. No.. Some people who recover really fast say they rested for 3 days and went back to daily life, but honestly it's hard to believe.. haha It's hard at first. Daily life is harder than you might thinkㅠㅠ
They said one round was enough, and seeing that it's okay at this point, I don't think I'll do a second round. After surgery, it's good to check the graft survival before deciding whether to do a second round, and also keep track of the bruising fading. If it really doesn't go away, many people visit the hospital where they had surgery and get examined again.
They say it can be hard from 2 weeks after surgery to as long as half a year, so please look into it carefully before doing it! I did hip-up with fat grafting, so I don't know much about implants or fillers. A lot of people came for consultations about implants too. I proceeded with fat grafting, feeling like my body line was also being corrected through fat grafting and liposuction.
Looking back now, the early stage after surgery was so painful and difficult, but I think I endured by looking up what to do afterward on other communities or cafes. These days there is a lot of information, so I think you can help your recovery in a way that suits you.
If you're interested in buttock fat grafting, please look into it carefully before proceeding. If the price is very cheap or they recommend surgery at an absurdly low event price, I really don't recommend it. Hip surgery tends to be on the pricier side even among cosmetic surgeries, so I don't think there is such a thing as a price without a reason. For hospital consultations, I narrowed it down to about 8 places and went for consultations, then had surgery at a place with decent reviews where I could make a reservation, or somewhere relatively close.
I really hope those who get hip-up surgery have good results!! Fighting!
