After my revision double-eyelid surgery, it went straight into nose surgery. For the double-eyelid surgery, they woke me up in the middle of anesthesia and the director went through the process of saying, “Please open your eyes~ Please close your eyes~” But I had been told about that beforehand, so that was fine. After the double-eyelid surgery, they anesthetized me again and I fell asleep, but for nose surgery, isn’t it supposed to be that you don’t wake up from the anesthesia...?
All of a sudden, I felt my body and legs trembling, and then I realized I had woken up from the anesthesia. My legs were really trembling like an aspen leaf, and I felt extremely cold, and there was a blanket covering my legs.
I could feel the surgical process, and something slid deep into my nose. It really, really, really hurt so much. Without realizing it, I went “uuuuugh” and moved, and then I heard female nurses? murmuring and saying things, but I didn’t hear the director’s voice.
After that, I fell asleep again.. It was pain I felt only after waking up for a moment, but... it was truly horrifying and left me traumatizedㅠ
Afterward, I asked the counseling manager and a nurse? and they said that since it was sleep anesthesia, of course that can happen.. But I don’t think that’s something that should “of course” happen; seriously, imagine undergoing surgery while consciousㅠ
When I went to get the stitches removed from the first surgery, I was so, so scared that I couldn’t sleep a wink that night before going to the clinicㅠㅠ
