Review of my first surgery for a short, low, small nose at ㅇㅇㅈ in Daegu

Hello. Today is day 2 since I had my first nose surgery at a private clinic in Daegu that everyone knows once you hear the name, so I went to get the cotton removed! I want this to be as helpful as possible, so I’m planning to write in detail as much as I remember. Just letting you know in advance that the body of this post will be very long • I went to 6 consultations, and everywhere I was told I had a short and low nose, but the line was pretty ..(?) + I’m dramatic about pain + an extreme scaredy-cat Process on the day of surgery <Before surgery> • Arrived at the clinic, went over the vibe and line I wanted one more time with the consultation manager, then finalized it with a second consultation with the director before going in (If you have a nose shape you want, definitely save photos on your phone. The consultation manager prints them out and sends them up to the operating room!) • Left my clothes in the changing room, changed into surgical clothes, and washed up thoroughly • Entered the operating room and lay down on the operating table (I started regretting it from this point^^ Ah damn, I should’ve just lived as I was. What have I done? Should I say I changed my mind even now? Scared? Extremely scared, seriously) • Right before the surgery started, while I was lying down, the doctor took more detailed digital camera photos than during the consultation / Then he showed me the silicone and asked me to choose the number of ml. I went in thinking 3 ml, but it looked thinner than I expected, and I was worried it would become too natural over time, so I chose 4 ml <Surgery starts> • They told me to count from 1 to 100. I got to about 50 and almost passed out. It felt like being sucked into space + but there was an unpleasant painful feeling So without realizing it, I kept going, “I don’t like this ㅠㅠ it hurts ㅠㅠ I want to go home ㅠㅠㅠ no ㅠㅠ Mom ㅠㅠ” lololol I could really feel tears streaming down .. and I was pouring cold sweat. First of all, the operating room was very cold.. and instead of music, the radio was playing In the middle of that chaos, to the nurse? nursing assistant? who held my hand, thank you so much ㅠㅠ It was warm.. you were truly my savior • I felt like I was trapped in some unpleasant space, and then at some point my head became clear (I’m guessing the sedation had ended and I was under local anesthesia) • In reviews of the doctor’s surgeries, people say they can feel the delicate touch, and that is seriously true. And the smell of burnt squid and things like that .. I could feel it all ^^.. • Even when it only tingled a little, I said, “It hurts!” and the doctor immediately asked, “Does it hurt?” and kept adding more anesthesia • It seemed like the nasal bridge was being finished, and then he said, “I’ll anesthetize your ear” (??? I thought the ear cartilage had already been taken out?ㅠㅠㅠㅠ) As soon as he said it, he anesthetized my ear (it hurt like crazy; if I felt even a little tingling I screamed^^) It hurt for a moment, but maybe because it was anesthetized quickly, I could again only feel the doctor’s beautiful hand movements • Then it felt like my nose was almost finished He said, “We’re almost done. I’ll show you the line in the mirror,” and about 10 minutes? before the surgery ended, he woke me up, showed me my face in the mirror, and asked if I liked it • I was just extremely swollen and out of it, but anyway I looked carefully and turned my head this way and that. I liked the line itself, but it felt more like a pig nose than I expected? so I said, “It looks too.. pig-like,” and he said that because he had used much more anesthesia than with other patients, it was swollen, that it was swelling so I shouldn’t worry, and if the line was okay he would finish it like this. I said okay too, so he finished it • I thought I would pass out in the recovery room, but because it was done under local anesthesia, not general anesthesia, my mind was completely clear, I wasn’t dizzy at all, and I was just thirsty, yes .. Still, after reading a review saying someone else was lively like me and tried to just go home but collapsed, I immediately lay down, used my phone very thoroughly for 40 minutes, heard various explanations, and went home all done~   <After surgery> • Breathing through my mouth was better than I expected, and they said swelling and bruising would slowly come up, but on the first day I was completely fine. Except for sounding nasal and having no appetite, it was okay. I didn’t even change the gauze. In other vlogs, people’s eyes were all bruised and nosebleeds were streaming, but at least I wasn’t like that .. ✌
