Review<surgery nose!>Hi. I’m someone thinking about doing full nose implant removal this summer.
I don’t have any major problems, but I want to get the surgery because I dislike the discomfort in daily life and how much it bothers me.
For consultations, I’ve currently been to the big three and ㅅㅇ, and as you saw in the title, I’m torn between ㅅㅇ and ㅍㄹㅁ.
For ㅅㅅㅇ, I felt that the doctor and I didn’t match in vibe, and I saw some reviews saying the shape might not come out pretty, so I passed. ㄱㅇㅅ was too expensive, and unlike other clinics that said full removal alone would be enough to have normal function and shape, they said I would need septoplasty to correct the original deviation of my septum too, so I passed.
The consultation content at both ㅍㄹㅁ and ㅅㅇ was almost the same. In detail, ㅅㅇ said they use local anesthesia, but ㅍㄹㅁ said they use sedation anesthesia. ㅅㅇ said they would leave the nasal valve (septal spreader graft), whereas ㅍㄹㅁ said it has nothing to do with the shape, so they would remove it. They said my nose is not a particularly difficult surgery and doesn’t really have problems.
My concern is that ㅅㅇ’s surgical goal is purely full removal only, putting everything else aside, so I wonder whether they may lack an aesthetic sense for harmony with my face, and I’ve also seen reviews like that. With ㅍㄹㅁ, I’m slightly worried that they say they will remove the spreader graft, which other clinics say doesn’t necessarily need to be removed (they said there would be no problem). Also, people say ㅍㄹㅁ makes it look a bit prettier..
Also, price-wise, ㅅㅇ is about 1 million won cheaper than ㅍㅇㅁ. I think it’s probably because anesthesia costs and promotional costs are excluded.
