Petit Procedure Reviews

Went for a Laser Lifting Consultation (Warning: Long Post)

I’ve heard a lot of famous lifting names like Ultherapy and Thermage, but I couldn’t get a feel for which one would be good or what the effects would be. Rather than worrying about it alone, I thought I should go around for consultations myself, so I got a consultation at a place with a skin diagnosis program. It wasn’t free, and I had to pay a separate examination fee. (The place I went to was about 30,000 won.) Instead, if I ended up getting any procedure, it would be included in the procedure fee.

They could check everything, like whether there was brown pigmentation or redness, sebum, pore size, wrinkles, and so on. It came out in much more detail than just looking in the mirror... ㄷㄷ There was also a machine that measured moisture, and there was 3D imaging too. When everything was assessed together, my skin age was 35... I had hoped it would just come out similar to my age (30), but it came out 5 years older.... hahaha It made me realize I really hadn’t been paying enough attention to my skin

I also had way too many freckles and blemishes for my age, but I went because of skin sagging and elasticity, so I thought I should do laser lifting first. I decided to get a separate consultation for blemishes after finishing the laser, and mostly asked questions about laser lifting.

The consultation order was manager - director doctor - manager. With the manager, I just briefly talked about which areas were bothering me, and during the consultation with the director doctor, I asked in more detail about the areas that concerned me.

I do have some facial volume, and I was stressed because sagging had made my jawline collapse. I was especially concerned about the deep cheek area, so I asked the director doctor.

They said Ultherapy would be good for lifting the lower face overall. But I do have prominent cheekbones. I’d heard that Ultherapy can cause hollowing if done incorrectly, so I was worried I might end up with a peanut-shaped face. I asked about that too, and they said they would avoid that area, so it would be okay. It didn’t seem like a place that just blindly recommends a high number of shots, so I made a reservation. I’m planning to do Ultherapy under sedation, and we decided on 400 shots focused on the lower face. That’s the end of my Ultherapy consultation review! lol
