Because my beard is thick and grows quickly, I bought a package of 10 sessions (the hospital also said it seemed like I would need 10 sessions)
Treatment about once every 2 weeks.
At first, they applied anesthetic cream and I waited about 10 minutes
After that, I went into the treatment room
They covered my eyes with something and proceeded with the hair removal
It just felt like several awls bundled together
were stabbing my face..
It hurt, but I couldn’t make a sound and got through it all
Afterward, they soothed it with aloe
But it didn’t calm down
They told me not to shave my beard for a few days
After a few days, it turned bluish, looked really dirty, and hurt when touched
After about a week, my beard fell out in clumps just from washing my face..
After two weeks, it fell out a bit patchily
If you keep doing this once every 2 weeks,
I guess it becomes clean..
But it hurts so much, seriously
Even with anesthetic cream, it hurts
For a week after the procedure, it looks really messy.. It was fine during the COVID era when we wore masks
but now it’s a bit awkward.. and hot too
I recommend doing it in winter
