Nose Surgery Reviews

2-year review of rhinoplasty. Things to know when getting rhinoplasty

I had surgery in May 2022. It has now been over a full 2 years, and I am genuinely so satisfied. Of course, what scared me the most before nose surgery was side effects.

But based on my research, the cases where rhinoplasty side effects appear generally seem to be the following common cases.

1. Touching the nose like crazy after surgery 2. Drinking alcohol right after surgery 3. Excessive nasal tip lengthening 4. Too many revision surgeries 5. Silicone showing through due to thin skin 6. Inflammation after surgery

Honestly, for numbers 1 and 2, I think they are things that won’t be a problem if you manage yourself well. For numbers 3 and 4, I think it’s important not to be greedy. For number 5, I think it would be better to reconsider nose surgery a bit.

Number 6 seems like a truly unlucky case, and honestly I don’t think it’s common, but if that happens, I recommend not doing it because maybe cosmetic surgery is just not meant for you. If you force yourself to do it again, there’s a high possibility of worse side effects because of number 4.

Anyway, I’m doing very well now and living very satisfied. And people getting nose surgery, if you’re going to do it, don’t make it too natural. Most people around me who asked for it to be natural regretted it. Because sometimes people around them genuinely don’t notice, so later they end up thinking, ah, should I have done it, should I have done a bit more. So I asked for something between glamorous and natural and I’m very satisfied.

For reference, I used donated costal cartilage + 2 mm silicone in the nasal bridge.

And I’m sure there aren’t people like that among those who came here, but cosmetic surgery is not about following the hospital, it’s about following the doctor.

This review is a surgical review pursuing a glamorous look.
