1. I first tried a nose procedure 6 years ago. I got Hiko nose thread lifting + filler, and at the time I didn’t know much about cosmetic surgery and naively thought procedures would be safer, so I got them done lol. I liked it at first, but not even a month or two later, the nasal tip dropped again, so I regretted getting it. Hiko itself doesn’t naturally disappear either, and it made me uneasy that I would have foreign material in my nose for life.
2. A friend around me got rhinoplasty for the first time. Men will probably relate, but most men don’t really get cosmetic surgery. But among the people I knew, one guy was the first to get his nose done in Gangnam. While drinking with him, we talked seriously about cosmetic surgery, and when I told him I had gotten Hiko, he said that for that money, compared with the effect, it was basically very poor value.. He said that if I still couldn’t let go of wanting to fix my nose, I should start looking into rhinoplasty even now.
What really drew me in here was that his nose style was exactly the style I had wanted lol. So naturally I asked where he got it done, heard that he had it done at Marble in Gangnam, and asked him to go to the consultation with me, so I took him along lol.
3. I just showed the director his nose and asked for mine to be done like that lol. As I said earlier, I’m not good with words.. I thought showing my friend’s nose and saying I wanted it like his would be the most accurate way to show it, rather than explaining at length in words. The director looked and said he would make it as similar as possible, but since everyone’s nose shape itself cannot be the same, he would design it so that it suits my facial features.
Honestly, I thought he would say he would definitely make it like that, but I liked that the director clearly pointed out what was possible and impossible design-wise, and I also liked that he tried to match the design I wanted as much as possible. Because I had done Hiko, I decided to have surgery together with foreign material removal.
4. After getting surgery, I definitely felt that procedures and surgery are different. With rhinoplasty, just having the splint on is inevitably a bit hard lol. I originally had a hump too, and had that corrected together, and the filler-related spreading-looking glabella was also corrected. If Hiko and filler simply raised the nasal tip, I think rhinoplasty has the advantage of being able to operate with attention not only to height but also to the columella.
It has now been one month since I got rhinoplasty. There were guys around me grumbling, “Why would a man get cosmetic surgery?” lol, but when they actually saw that I had surgery, a lot of them were jealous. They asked where I got it done, and I was going to refuse to tell them because I felt petty about it, but I was grateful to the director, so I told some of them.
They said that once the swelling goes down, the nasal tip will drop a little compared with now. It is still only one month, and they said rhinoplasty needs to be watched for a full six months, so I plan to keep watching it until the end.
