On the first day, it hurt like I was going to die, and for 3 days after surgery I couldn’t even speak.
My throat was extremely swollen, and since I could only breathe through my mouth, my throat got so swollen that I could barely speak. Even when I tried to drink water, my ears were blocked too, so because of the pressure difference, I choked more than once or twice.
On the first night, my throat hurt so much that I couldn’t sleep and only tears came out... wow... I regretted why I ever did something like this in my life, and I even thought about just pulling the cotton out of my nose. My ears were itchy and muffled too... overall it was a challenge.
After removing the nasal packing, I can feel the throat pain getting better. Now I can eat rice, not just porridge. But what’s bothering me a bit is this white thing on the columella of my nose. It’s the weekend now so I can’t contact the hospital, ha..... it feels uncomfortable and I’m worried something serious might happen while waiting until Monday ,, If anyone knows, please take a look and tell me what this is.
