Hi everyone!!! I'm just a broke part-timer, but my breasts had seriously been a lifelong complex for me and a thief of my self-esteem lol, so this time I just went, whatever, and got the surgery (my mom paid for it,,)
I had it done at Glam, and like I wrote in the title, I got dual-plane Motiva 315cc through an inframammary incision!! Same amount on both sides. At first I was really worried because people said inframammary incision scars show a lot, but unless you deliberately lift the breasts up, they are in a spot you can't see. The incision is aligned with the inframammary fold! (Until right before surgery I kept whining that I was worried about the scar, and I remember the consultant really reassured me, saying they would use the smallest incision possible and the director would make it pretty in a spot that wouldn't stand out lol. But it really was needless worrying)
Also, before surgery I thought I would start taking capsular contracture medicine right away, but apparently you take it from after 10 days. It was more expensive than I expected... You have to take one pill a day for about 3 months, and they said to stop taking it and contact them if an allergic reaction shows up, but I haven't had anything like an allergic reaction and I'm fine, so I'm taking it before going to work!
Sleeping without being able to lie on my side is uncomfortable, but I'm thinking of it as a chance to fix my sleeping posture, so I'm sleeping flat on my back. They said side sleeping is allowed from one month later. Sleeping face down is possible from 3 months later! (I'm writing this because it seems like a lot of people are curious and ask about it lol. Sex is,, possible from 1 week later lolol)
Other than that, I don't think I've had any real discomfort after surgery. Maybe because I saw so many posts saying people were bedridden and suffering after breast surgery, I was worried and anxious about whether I could even go to my part-time job, but honestly from the day after surgery I moved around super well.. I didn't feel anything hard at all lolol. I don't know if I won the painless lottery or if inframammary incisions are just all like this.. I was so fine that I surprised myself. On the day of surgery I was a bit out of it and half-asleep, half-awake, but I stayed hospitalized for a day, got care from the hospital staff, had my follow-up the next day, had the bandages removed, and was discharged.. I went home, ate, slept, woke up, and felt okay. Even at work, the heaviest things I had to handle were ramen, frozen fried rice, heating rice bowls, holding the blender and pouring drinks, so I worked just fine. Sometimes I flinched when opening the fridge or freezer door, but once I got the hang of grabbing it with my elbow and using my foot this way and that to open it, it was okay!!
It's only been 3 weeks now, so the feel is still firm, but they said that is something that resolves with time anyway, so I'm just waiting calmly and not really worrying about it. Still, the shape came out much prettier than I expected, so I really like that lol. My mom saw my breasts too and said they came out bouncy-looking (that's my mom's own expression, but I think she means soft-looking, round, and pretty), prettier than natural breasts, and that it was worth paying for lolololol
It'll take a long time to watch until my breasts settle, but at this point I feel like all the early worries have passed, and isn't this a pretty successful surgery!! My satisfaction when I look in the mirror is really high, and I feel like my figure got better, so seeing my body every day makes me so happy. If only the feel passes, it'll be perfect
Anyway, I'm really satisfied with my breast surgery, and for everyone who lacks confidence because of their breasts, I definitely want to recommend it. If you're hesitating,,, start by going for a consultation lolol. Surgery in the summer was fine too. You just lie at home with the air conditioner on
