I'll write a before/after/2-week review
It's now been 2 weeks since I had an abdominoplasty
I had super-morbid obesity and had even had liposuction before, and as you can see from the pre-op photos, I was in a state with very severe sagging. I had rebound weight gain after liposuction, and this wasn't surgery I had after finishing a diet, so please understand that I still have a lot of weight I need to start slowly losing it from now
The second photo was taken on day 4 after surgery at the hospital before disinfection, and I still had stitches and drains in That day was the first time I properly saw the sutured area with my own eyes, and honestly I was a bit moved The director sutured it so beautifully that it felt like I could see hope that I just need to manage the scar well..!! And the newly made navel was vertical, not horizontal It was attached higher than I expected, so that was interesting
The area around my abdomen had almost no sensation, and the pubic area was sagging too, so before surgery I asked the director to pull it tight. Because of that, it was pulled a bit more and sutured So the pulling sensation was very strong, and even now at week 2, a lot of the tight pulling feeling remains I'm happy that my vulvar/pubic area has become taut, and because it was pulled, the sagging on the inner thighs also came up a little along with it
Maybe my body is using a lot of energy for surgical recovery, but I kept getting hungry I originally don't really like salty foods, so I didn't crave or eat rice, kimchi stew, soups, things like that, and mainly ate sandwiches and salads. Maybe I wasn't getting enough nutrition, because I kept getting hungry, so I ate whatever I wanted within those types of foods
So it may not look like my belly has gone in, but as the swelling gradually goes down, I think the line is starting to show I also had flank liposuction, so my flanks are still very swollen
The things stuck to my abdomen are there because I have a tape allergy
If it gradually improves more, I'll post another review
