Even after doing a 10 kg diet before, the fat on my legs wouldn’t go away, so after thinking about it over and over, in summer 2022 I got liposuction on my thighs+hips+arms.
I don’t even remember how many cc they removed.. For my arms, I only wanted the part that sticks out instead of falling in a straight line from the front when I put my arms against my body to be cleaned up, so they removed only a very small amount. For my legs, I wanted the very top of my thighs to drop sharply, but after hearing that it could be difficult because of my body type, I said okay and just had surgery with the goal of reducing the overall circumference.
I tolerate pain well, so I don’t really remember the post-op pain haha. It didn’t hurt as memorably as I had feared. I bruised really badly, so I diligently applied a lot of bruise cream. Fibrotic lumps also formed firmly, and since the hospital didn’t really have an aftercare program, I got care 5 or 6 times at an aftercare shop in Apgujeong that specializes in liposuction. I remember this aftercare It was really soooooooo painful, but if not for this, I think the fibrotic lumps would have resolved way too late, so I highly recommend it! I remember it wasn’t very expensive.
I’m very satisfied with the surgical result! Before surgery, the waist would be loose, but because of my legs I had to wear stretchy size 27 or 28. Now I’m exactly a size 26. When I stand still, the very tops of my thighs do touch, but I like skirts so it doesn’t bother me much. Because my front thighs and overall thickness are definitely thinner, I’m so happy that there are almost no restrictions when wearing clothes.
But exactly three things are disappointing. 1. Some scars remain. There were 8 incision sites: both elbows, the groin area, the gluteus medius area, and right under the buttocks. Strangely, the elbow scars disappeared to the point that they’re barely visible, but the scars on the leg side are still dark in color. I left them alone thinking they’d fade, but now I’m wondering if I should get some pigmentation care
2. When I stand still, my legs look smooth, but depending on the posture, there’s a slight indentation? or something. It wasn’t there before, but if I bend my legs a little, a slight split..? is visible. But when others see it, rather than thinking “those are operated-on legs,” it’s more like they might think my body shape or muscles were originally like that.
3. Skin elasticity This might be something only I feel because I love my skin so much. My body skin is really good, but around the thighs, that glossy, firm bounce is very subtly lacking Right after surgery, despite my legs being thinner, I was shocked because my skin looked so lifeless that I wondered, “Did I do this for nothing?” Now I feel like it has almost all come back, but compared with other areas, it’s still subtly different, so I still apply lotion and cream to my thighs very diligently... Everyone who already lacks skin elasticity should think carefully about skin elasticity too..
But these three things are not factors that greatly harm my satisfaction with the surgery, so I still think I did well getting it doneu
I need to open the premium hospital analysis while looking for a new surgery, but I’m short on points, so I suddenly wrote this review For the photos, you can tell what’s before and after without me saying, right..? The angle has some effect too, but the thigh line and thickness themselves changed I’m embarrassed, so I’ll leave them up for a little while and then take them down,,,
If anyone has anything they’re curious about, ask away!
