Whenever I looked in the mirror, the drooping tip of my nose and the deeply sunken nasolabial area bothered me the most and kept drawing my attention.. Because my nasal tip was low and drooping, I unconsciously kept tensing the area around my mouth, which made my expression always look tired and made my mouth look pushed forward. I disliked that, so I researched hospitals specializing in rhinoplasty. I saw a place on short-form videos that seemed to create natural results, went for a consultation, and ended up having surgery.
After a detailed CT examination, they looked at my internal nasal structure and the angle of my mouth area while reviewing the CT images, and explained well why I had these concerns. It felt as though I had found a solution. They did not push various procedures excessively. They explained the differences between doing rhinoplasty, alar reduction, and paranasal augmentation together versus separately, allowing me to choose, which I appreciated.
Perhaps it was just my perception, but I felt a slight foreign-body sensation and some anxiety in the early period after surgery because I was conscious of it. As time passed, however, it became natural without any particular problems like before, and it does not interfere with daily life. I was also very worried about the incision scar from the alar reduction, but there is almost no discoloration. Since the area around my mouth feels comfortable even without forcing it, I can feel that my overall impression has improved.
What I like most is that the line descending from the bridge to the tip settled appropriately without being excessive. The difference is especially visible in photos, to the point that even my friends find it fascinating. Honestly, I initially started this for my own satisfaction, but the result exceeded my expectations and I am extremely satisfied.
