Nose Surgery Reviews

My Low Nose Became Naturally Beautiful with Jelly Nose

I had a nasal bridge, but from the middle downward my nose dropped sharply and became lower toward the tip, which constantly stressed me out. I kept researching rhinoplasty, but did not want anything too dramatic; I wanted a line that continued naturally from my existing bridge. Then I learned about Jelly Nose. It can be raised quite dramatically as well, but I wanted only a natural continuation of the line without an obvious surgical look, so I thought it was the perfect option for me. When I looked up reviews, some people said there was a wait for consultation or surgery, but whenever I visited, I either hardly waited or received my consultation and surgery on time. The coordinator understood my needs very well, so it was comfortable talking during the consultation. On the day of surgery, even though I usually tolerate injections well, they hurt a little. Still, once I was anesthetized and came out of surgery, I was so comfortable that I barely remember it. My ear hurt a lot on the first day after surgery. Surprisingly, my nose did not hurt at all. Swelling began the next day, and I think the second postoperative day was the worst. I also had quite a lot of bruising, so I went to a pharmacy and took medicine for both swelling and bruising. Sleeping sitting up was a little uncomfortable, but it was tolerable considering the swelling. The most uncomfortable part was that I could not blow my nose because of the stitches inside, and even when my nose was blocked, I could not remove anything inside. Other than that, washing was just a little difficult because I was worried water touching my ear and nose might be harmful. On day three, I went to the clinic to have the tape removed. At first I was a little flustered because, looking only from the front, I could not see much difference before and after surgery. But when I looked at my profile from various angles at home, the difference was obvious and surprising. Of course, swelling may have made it look that way, but I liked that the natural line I wanted had appeared. At one week, I went to have the stitches in my nose and ear removed. The nurse removed the ear stitches first; the pain was tolerable, while removing the nasal stitches hurt a little. Afterward I consulted the doctor, who said there was still a little swelling in the center of my nose but that everything else had healed well! I rested at home only on the day of surgery and went out here and there from the next day. Looking back, Jelly Nose seemed manageable enough for most activities from the first day. However, for people who need to meet many others or are concerned about facial swelling, I would recommend resting at home for about days 2–3! Even today, a little yellow bruising remains but can be covered with makeup. For those who want to raise the tip naturally in a short time, I think it was a highly satisfying choice. I especially recommend it to people like me who want a line that continues naturally from their existing bridge rather than raising the nose dramatically:)
