That is me… When I asked at the clinic where I had my first surgery, they said they extended it with septal cartilage and built a column as a strut. I cannot make a pig nose, but I can move it up and down more than expected. Is that because the support has weakened? I am considering whether to leave the strut in because I am worried about columellar retraction when it is removed. If I leave it, they would correct it by lowering the septal strut that was inserted, so would it stop moving like it does now…?

I know removal is the right answer, but there are hardly any before-and-after photos, so I’m frustrated and posting this. I’ve seen many posts saying the nose became shorter and more upturned after complete removal, perhaps because the tip

I’m one month in and it’s hard... It was soft right after surgery, but could everyone with experience tell me? T_T
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoOct 18 I had autologous rib cartilage for the tip and silicone for the bridge
I want to remove the silicone from the bridge. Can the tip be lowered only to match the bridge? If so, would the rib cartilage inside my nose be used again?
