I'm a man, and 5 years ago I had my hump shaved down, had the nasal tip done (with septal cartilage), and had silicone inserted. Maybe because I used a thin one, it doesn't seem that noticeable.. But shaving down the hump really looks pretty. Especially when seen from the side rather than the front, even though only the nose changed, the face looks different. It may be obvious, but if you're a man, a straight nose is definitely the way to go.
It was 5 years ago, but what I still remember vividly is that after surgery, they block your nose with cotton for about a day or two, and I think that was extremely hard. Not being able to breathe is seriously harder than you expect, so it's more comfortable if you have one family member or acquaintance there to take care of you. If anyone from outside Seoul is planning to come up to Seoul for it, I strongly recommend getting a relative's place or a nearby hotel. If traveling back and forth between your region and Seoul takes too long, it's only harder on you, and dealing with other people's stares isn't easy either..
And nose side effects.. Before doing it, the biggest reason everyone hesitates is probably side effects like inflammation. I still need to keep watching it too, but so far it seems okay? And even if side effects appear a few years later, I don't think I'll regret having done it.
