ICL review that almost made me depressed

The reason I was considering ICL was that many people have it removed after 10 years, so I debated for years whether to do it or not, then finally made up my mind and did it.

My eyesight was really bad, so I was worried astigmatism might remain. After surgery, a little astigmatism remained in my left eye, and I almost got depressed. At first it was even 0.7/0.8 When I looked at people around me, they got 1.0 right away, so I thought the surgery had gone wrong. The doctor said we should watch it for one to two months and that it could gradually improve, so I waited…. It did get very slightly better, but not as much as the right side. Maybe I got used to having a little astigmatism, but now it’s okay. They said the lens position is fine and there are no problems. They say it reaches 1.0 now. Next time I plan to ask the doctor why the left side was not corrected as much as the right. This is the price I got with an acquaintance discount. Both my astigmatism and myopia were severe, so I used toric lenses. What’s interesting is that long ago, my eyes used to sting when I wore makeup, but that disappeared…. Is this a good thing… I don’t really have dry eyes.

After wearing glasses for 18 years, taking them off really is heaven. I still find myself pushing up invisible glasses with my finger though.. haha

The doctor seems responsible and explains things well.
