I remember it being a clinic that was in the top 5 at the time? When I entered university, I saw so many people who had gotten LASIK there. I was eligible for a discount, so I had the surgery for around that price, with all the options like serum and so on added. I also had the surgery with the highest-grade machine option.
Because they had to run all kinds of tests, I had to go to the clinic several times over a few days. They checked everything in detail, starting from whether my eyes were dry and what my visual acuity was. I tend to have some dry eye syndrome, and they first asked me that surgery was possible, but my dry eye syndrome could get worse, and whether I could handle that. My vision was around -3.6? and I thought that rather than living with that vision, it would be better to live attached to artificial tears, so I said I would just have the surgery.

After that, you do have to go back for checkups a few times, but the risk is too big to get the surgery alone. You absolutely need to bring a guardian. And my eyes stung so much that I was covered in tears.
Now, 7 years later, I have no side effects other than dry eye syndrome, and I'm maintaining 1.6 and 1.5. As for glare/halos, I don't know whether I have them or not. At this level, I think I basically don't have them.
