Before <before surgery>Before <before surgery>After <1 month after surgery>After <1 month after surgery>After <3 months after surgery>After <3 months after surgery>I had alar base reduction done at a clinic.
It has already been 3 months since the surgery. Because having wide nostril wings on my small nose had always been a huge complex for me, every time I look in the mirror after surgery, I feel glad that I did it. But as with all cosmetic surgery.. as the swelling gradually goes down over a long period of time, there is inevitably a feeling that it has spread out compared with right after surgery. If you want it to be reduced enough to be clearly noticeable even after the swelling goes down, I think it would be best to make sure to say so before or during the surgery! But the most important thing is that it harmonizes with your own face, so I hope you make a good decision by considering the opinions of the consultant and director as well, in a direction that will not leave you disappointed after surgery :)
(It may differ from person to person, but) the scar at the surgical site has also almost healed. I no longer have pain that feels like tightness in the philtrum when opening my mouth. And because the incision is made under the nose, it is not very noticeable in daily life unless someone lifts your face completely and looks closely.
I think another big advantage is that they consistently take care of you from before surgery through aftercare. Even if it is a small surgery, it is still surgery on the face, so you probably have many concerns when choosing a clinic, but personally I was satisfied with the clinic's meticulous service as well.
I hope this review helps even a little.
