I got rhinoplasty in early May as a birthday present lol I had always had a serious complex about my bulbous nose + short nose, but because of the cost and because I was pretty ;;; scared, I kept thinking about it and then just went for it. I got recommendations for about 3 clinics, added a few more myself, and went around for consultations. While looking at reviews, I first went to the place where I liked the nose shape the most, but as I was getting consultations, there was one place that just felt right and seemed trustworthy, so I had surgery there. The day before surgery, I couldn't sleep and was shaking lol, but the doctor and nurses reassured me. Right after surgery, I was out of it because of the pain and nasal congestion, but after removing the cotton, I think I recovered quickly? Because of my bulbous nose, my nostrils/alar base were very wide, but after they narrowed and I got a nasal bridge, my nose looks slimmer. I wanted it to change naturally rather than have my original nose shape completely disappear, and I think it came out exactly that way. The swelling still needs to go down more, but as of now, I am extremely satisfied.
